A 21-year-old pre-med student running for Lady Lake Commission has picked up the endorsement of a former commissioner.
Andrew Lo Faro, who is running for the Ward 2 seat, has won the endorsement of Helen Cottom who served as Ward 2’s representative from 1985-1987.
“Helen and I share the same concerns for Lady Lake and both feel, strongly, that the people of our community deserve an approachable representative whose voice will speak for them in local government,” Lo Faro said in a statement announcing the endorsement.
Lo Faro faces longtime incumbent Tony Holden.
