Marion County sheriff’s deputies were called Wednesday afternoon to a home in Summerfield after roommates got into a fight over money.
The call came from a neighbor who witnessed the fight at a home in the 13000 block of SE 47the Avenue, according to an incident report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim told deputies that she and her roommate were arguing about money and bills. When the victim tried to leave, the male roommate followed her into the yard and put her in a bear hug squeeze.
The man fled before deputies arrived on the scene.
