A Lady Lake man was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence after driving his car into a ditch.
Ronald Peters of 5503 Bird Island Drive was spotted walking out of the Sunoco gas station at about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. His Buick was in a ditch in front of the station at Griffin View Drive and U.S. Hwy. 27/441.
It appeared Peters had been drinking and he failed field sobriety tests. He later provided breath samples that registered .117 and .115.
He was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence and booked at the Lake County Jail. Bond was set at $1,000.
