About 5,000 SECO Energy members in The Villages area were experiencing a service interruption at about 7 p.m. Thursday.
The outage was centered in the Villages of Ashland, Lynnhaven and Belvedere.
The outage appeared to be centered near The Villages Charter School, SECO indicated.
