Norma Jean Meister, 81, of The Villages, FL, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Cornerstone Hospice. Norma was born in Illiopolis, Illinois on September 13, 1935. She enjoyed crocheting and golf. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her fur babies.
Survivors include loving husband of 61 years Edward Meister; sons Michael Meister (Jamie) and Steven Meister (Tami); daughters Cathy Swick (Robert) and Paula Meister; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her grandson Jason Meister; brother Howard “Wimp” Young; parents Howard and Mary Young.

A gathering will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 from 2-3 pm with a memorial service to follow at 3 p.m., ocated at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL 32159.
