A broken mirror led to the arrest of a Lady Lake woman who was driving on a suspended license.
Virginia Elizabeth Jordan, 25, who lives in the Lake North Apartments on County Road 466, had been driving just before 8 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 at Lake Ella Road when a Lady Lake police officer noticed that the passenger side mirror of Jordan’s Buick was broken and hanging down, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The officer discovered that the vehicle’s license was not valid and a seize tag order had been issued. The officer also found that Jordan had a suspended driver’s license. Jordan had two prior convictions for driving while license suspended, in 2012 and 2013.
Jordan was booked at the Lake County Jail. She was released after posting $100 bond.
