Robert “Bob” Andrew Thompson, 83, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016. Bob and Pat moved to The Villages in 1996 from Chicago. He had retired from Standard Bank as a Senior Vice President. He was a member of St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, enjoyed his golfing group and their friends from the Palo Alto Neighborhood Club. Bob lived to celebrate his 60th wedding anniversary to Pat and was surrounded by friends and family. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Thompson.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pat Thompson; children, Karen Fulmer (Arnie) of Las Vegas, NV, Tom Thompson, Rock Hill, SC; 5 grandchildren, Melissa Truesdale (Alexander), Andrew and Alex Fulmer, Rocco and Keanu Thompson, one great grandchild, Alessa Truesdale; sister-in-law, Carol Thompson and several nieces and nephews.
