Members of the Amenity Authority Committee on Wednesday reaffirmed their opposition to speed bumps on multi-modal paths in The Villages.
The AAC decided that AAC Chair Ann Forrester will continue to represent the body on the Multi-Modal Path Discussion Group, made up of representatives from Community Development Districts 1 through 10 and the AAC.
Forrester sought direction from fellow members with regard to speed bumps ahead of the next gathering of the Multi-Modal Path Discussion Group.
“I think they are a problem,” said AAC member Carl Bell.
He found agreement from fellow committee members.
“My back does not like speed bumps,” said AAC member John Wilcox.
The committee members agreed they are opposed to speed bumps, even at tunnel entrances.
