The Medical Examiner’s office was called in to investigate a woman’s death Wednesday evening in the Cameron Villas in the Village of Calumet Grove.
The 73-year-old woman apparently shot herself in the head, according to an incident report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. The woman had been discovered on the bathroom floor by her husband.
The call came in to the sheriff’s office at about 6:30 p.m. Crime scene technicians were on the scene and left at about 10:30 p.m.
