A 52-year-old Lady Lake man has been sentenced for stealing steaks in June from Winn-Dixie on Bichara Boulevard in Spanish Springs.
Ronald Phillip Orr has been ordered to pay $65.31 restitution to the supermarket for stuffing three ham steaks, two T-bone steaks and one ribeye into his pants and leaving the store. He will also pay a $3.50 service fee.
Orr pleaded no contest in the case on Oct. 21 in Lake County Court.
He had skipped a court date in the case and was arrested Sept. 16 and booked at the Lake County Jail. He walked out of the jail Oct. 21 after the judge in the case sentenced him to time served.
Orr has a prior criminal history. He was arrested last year for violating his probation. You can read about that arrest HERE.
