Motorists on Rolling Acres Road have been experiencing traffic backups due to the installation of a turn lane for a new clinic.
Traffic is being reduced to one lane to accommodate the work. However, there are no lane closures during the drop-off and pick-up times for The Villages Elementary of Lady Lake.
In a public meeting in May, the developer of the clinic pledged the road work would take place in the summer when school was not in session and while snowbirds were still up north. You can read more about that meeting HERE.
The work is costing about $200,000 and the tab is being footed by the developer of the clinic.
