Two area restaurants have re-opened after recent emergency closures.

Aunt Fannies Restaurant on U.S. Hwy. 441 in Belleview was shut down Oct. 31 due to roach activity, according to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. The restaurant was allowed to reopen the following day.

Hungry Howies on SW 93rd CT Road in Ocala was the subject of an emergency closure on Nov. 3. The closure was also due to roach activity. It was permitted to reopen on Nov. 5.
