Veterans Day will be observed Friday in an event at American Legion Post 347 in Lady Lake.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. at the post at the intersection of Rolling Acres Road and County Road 466. The public is invited.
The following day, a breakfast will be served from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the post. The menu will include scrambled eggs, pancakes sausages, biscuits and gravy, coffee and orange juice. A donation of $6 is requested. The breakfast is open to the public.
