A Wildwood salon will offer free haircuts to veterans in honor of Veterans’ Day.
Hair & Nail Creations, located 104 S. Main St just south of the Wildwood City Hall on U.S. 301, will open its doors at 9 a.m. to accommodate veterans, and only veterans, for a complimentary haircut and food.
Owner, operator Annette Frederick says it’s always been in her “heart to do this for the vets,” and that she wants to “give back to them.”
“Of all of the hard times we are having in this country, I am more than ever grateful for the veterans and all that they been through,” said Frederick.
The event will not only included free haircuts for veterans, but will also include free catered food from local restaurant City Fire.
As a special gesture to veterans, Miss Puerto Rico 2016 will be on site to greet all those that are in attendance.
“My dad was in the Vietnam war and suffered a lot for this country. It’s an honor to do this for them,” commented Frederick.
To receive a free haircut, simply show up with a military ID or veterans card during the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Friday, November 11.
