An ex-girlfriend who has been accused by a Lady Lake man of damaging his new girlfriend’s car, wound up behind bars on an unrelated charge.
Nicole Marie Green, 34, of Lady Lake, is free on $1,000 bond following her arrest Nov. 4 on a charge of driving while license suspended.
In the early morning that same day, Green went to her ex-boyfriend’s home on Mark Avenue in Lady Lake and pounded on the front door, according to information her ex-boyfriend provided to Lady Lake police. He looked out and saw Green pacing in his driveway, the incident report indicated. She eventually left, but the next morning the ex-boyfriend and new girlfriend discovered the word “whore” had been scratched into a door of the new girlfriend’s car.
At 3 p.m. that day, Green was arrested by Lady Lake police on a charge of driving while license suspended. She denied any wrongdoing at her ex-boyfriend’s residence and claimed he had invited her over. She was booked at the Lake County Jail.
