Judith M. Knop, of The Villages, FL, passed away Friday, November 11, 2016. Her husband Lee and daughters were by her side as she went peacefully to be with the Lord. Born to Fred and Hazel (Roberts) Hubert April 18, 1936 in Rutland, Illinois she was the third youngest of 8 children. She married Jack Hauger on August 11, 1958 and has 2 daughters, Janine (Frank) Standafer of Middle River, MD and Jacqueline (Rick) Henson of Orange Park, Fl. She has 2 grandchildren, Jason Keesee and Jennah White. Judy married Leland Knop of Morris, Il on January 23, 1976. She had 2 step-children Linda and Buddy. Through this marriage she was blessed with 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Growing up, Judy lived in Rutland, Il and later moved to surrounding areas. She lived in Streator and Morris, Il. Later in life she lived on a farm in Kell, Il with her husband Lee. They then moved to Florida in June of 1993. Judy worked for several businesses where she did secretarial work and bookkeeping until she retired in 1990. She was a member of Chapel of All Faiths – The Villages, FL.
Judy is survived by sisters Patsy Dagasse, Marge (Pete) Supan, Kathy (Terry) Geiselman and a brother James (Sylvia) Hubert. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children. She was a great-great Aunt. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Fred and Jack, Sister Betty Stager, Step-Son Buddy, Step-Daughter Linda Carreno, and Son-In-Law Rick Henson.
