Timothy “Timmy” Ross Payne, 62, of The Villages, FL, passed away November 13, 2016. Born in Charlevoix, MI, the family moved to Anchorage, AK where Timmy graduated high school. He then lived in Central Lake, MI until 1999 when he moved to The Villages, FL to join and become an integral part of The Villages Commercial Design Team. Timmy was best known throughout the community for his Christmas tree decorations in all The Villages facilities. He took great pride in bringing Christmas to The Villages. He loved theatre and concerts and enjoyed his social activities with his many friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with Abby.
Timmy is survived by his sisters; Mary Ann Emannello and Terri Butcher both of Alaska and brother; Rick Payne of Washington.
A celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 6 p.m. with a gathering of family and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Sharon L. Morse Performing Art Center, Spanish Springs, The Villages. There will be a celebration for friends and family in Michigan at a later date.
