A 20-year-old Wildwood man was arrested Monday morning after he allegedly held down a woman and asked her to have sex with him.
Thomas Wayne Lee was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center following his arrest by Wildwood police on a charge of battery.
Police were called at 11:43 a.m. to a home on Young Circle. A woman reported that Lee had held her down on a couch and repeatedly asked her to have sex with him, according to an arrest report. She told him “multiple times” she did not want to have sex and repeatedly asked him to let her go.
The couple has lived together for a year and have a child in common, the arrest report indicated.
He was released after posting $1,000 bond.
