A man whose brake lights were not working found himself under arrest Tuesday after a traffic stop near the entrance to Water Oak on U.S. Hwy. 27/441.

Clay Edward Bixler, 35, was pulled over at 10:51 a.m. by a Lady Lake police officer. Bixler handed the officer an Indiana ID. His Indiana driver’s license had been suspended in 2014 for failure to pay child support.

Bixler was found to have about two grams of marijuana in a grinder in his vehicle.

He was arrested on charges of driving while license suspended, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked at the Lake County Jail on $7,000 bond.
