A 20-year-old Leesburg woman was ticketed after causing a four-vehicle chain-reaction collision at 7:53 a.m. Friday on U.S. Hwy. 27/441.

Danielle Coleman Rodnicka had been driving a 2002 Dodge four-door which had been traveling on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 when it rear-ended a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Jason Michael Pruss of Orlando which was stopped in traffic for a red light at County Road 466, according to an accident report from the Lady Lake Police Department. His vehicle was then forced into the rear of a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Vianey Guadalupe Jaimes of Mascotte. Her vehicle was forced into the rear of a vehicle driven by 71-year-old Gary Marshall Hicks of Fruitland Park.

No one was transported, but there were complaints of “aches and pains,” police said.

Rodnicka was ticketed on a charge of careless driving.
