A 20-year-old Wildwood man was arrested after allegedly throwing a cup of coffee at his mother.
Wildwood police were called shortly before 10 a.m. Saturday to a home on Gilliam Street where the mother of Christopher Lee Nune Jr. said that her son had thrown coffee at her and a mug hit her in the hand, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. A witness backed up her account. Nune’s mother is pregnant, according to the arrest report.
Nune said he and his mother had been arguing. He admitted throwing coffee at her, but said he threw the coffee mug on the floor.
He was arrested on a charge of aggravated battery and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. He was released Sunday after posting $2,000 bond.
