Dr. Henry R.C. Lara, age 87, passed away peacefully at his home in The Villages, FL, on Thursday, November 17, 2016. He was born in the Philippines on April 7, 1929.
Dr. Lara was a retired Pathologist in Erie, PA. He was a Catholic. His memberships include St. Timothy Catholic Church, American Medical Association, American Board of Pathology and the College of American Pathologists. He was a veteran having served in the Army Reserve. Dr Lara moved to Florida from Erie, PA in 1995. He enjoyed golfing and traveling.
He is survived by children Lannie (Irma) Lara, Sr of Phoenix, AZ, Lynette (Francis) Snyder of Phoenix, AZ, Henry R. Lara, Jr of The Villages, FL, brother Manuel M. Lara of Tacoma, WA, and 3 grandchildren Lannie (Judy) Lara, Jr, Dr Nina Lara and Nicole Snyder. He was preceded in death by his wife Fe DeLeon Lara.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at St Timothy Catholic Community, 1351 Paige Place
