A 2012 Yamaha gas-powered golf cart was stolen while it was parked this week at MVP Athletic Club in Spanish Springs Town Square.
Kathleen Dallaire of the Village of Country Club Hills said her husband had taken the golf cart to MVP where he worked out from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Monday. When he came out, the golf cart was gone.
Dallaire, who has lived in The Villages since 2003, said the golf cart recently had new LED lights installed.
The golf cart is black and has the names “Ben” and “Kay” etched on the front.
The theft of the golf cart is being investigated by the Lady Lake Police Department.
