John H. Stafford

John H. Stafford, Jr. age 77, of The Villages, FL, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016. He was born in Annapolis, MD on June 30, 1939.
John moved to The Villages from Virginia Beach, VA in 2003 with his wife, Brenda Stafford, after retiring from US Naval Audit Service after 37 years of service. John and Brenda were married 49 years and celebrated life to its fullest with each other and their family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all of them.
He is survived by children John H. Stafford, III (Trey) and wife Ashley of Encinitas, CA, Melinda Stafford of Leesburg, FL and Kimberly Loprete and husband Mike of Edgewater, MD;5 grandchildren Ashley Loprete, Ryan Loprete, Samantha Stafford, Colin Lynch and Reese Stafford and great granddaughter Echo Stafford. He was preceded in death by his wife Brenda J. Stafford who passed away in 2014.
Funeral service will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd, The Villages, FL 32159 on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at 4 p.m. Burial with military honors will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone hospice at 601 casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162.
