A sergeant with the Lady Lake Police Department remains in the hospital as the result of a weekend accident in Mount Dora.
Sgt. Stephen Kelly was involved in a head-on collision while driving his personal vehicle on U.S. Hwy. 441 early Sunday morning. Another vehicle had crossed the centerline, according to preliminary reports.
Kelly is a resident of Eustis.
