Steve Harvey, Ellen DeGeneres and NBC-TV – with a little help from Villages-News.com. — are ready to search The Villages for “talented, quirky, fun and entertaining” seniors.

Those who are picked, will be flown to Los Angeles and appear with Harvey on a new television series called, “Little Big Shots: Forever Young.”
Harvey and DeGeneres are executive producers and Harvey will host the show.
“We’re looking for today’s most seasoned citizens, ages 65 to 105,” a casting assistant stated to Villages-News.com. She added the show wants to “showcase amazing talents, incredible skills and outrageous personalities.”
Those interested can submit their names, ages, information by using the form at the end of this post. They should detail why they should be selected to appear on the show.
Villages-News.com will forward replies to NBC and the production staff of “Young At Heart.”
“We know Villages-News.com covers The Villages and we hope you can help us reach the people in The Villages,” said a casting assistant with the show.
The assistant contacted Villages-News.com recently to help aid in the selection process, after seeing an entertainment story and video posted online.
One Villager is already under serious consideration for the program, and has been interviewed. The casting assistant asked that the name of The Villager not be revealed at this time.
Contestants need not be entertainers, “we are looking for interesting people who do interesting things. We want to show grandma and grandpa like you have never seen them before,” stated the casting assistant.
Harvey hosts the TV show, “Little Big Shots” and “Family Feud.” DeGeneres has a highly successful afternoon talk show.
“America has celebrated the talents of the very young,” stated an email sent to Villages-News.com “Now the producers behind ‘Little Big Shots’ want to celebrate the young at heart.”
