A 69-year-old Village of Bonnybrook woman will have to answer in court later this month to a charge of retail theft.
Patricia Nighan of 420 Layton Terrace entered Kohl’s at about 3:30 p.m. Dec. 10 and attempted to leave the store without paying for two bras and an umbrella, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. She was detained by the store’s loss prevention officer who called police. When an officer arrived, Nighan admitted to concealing the items in her purse. The items had a total value of $131.99.
She was ordered to stay out of Kohl’s and ordered to appear Dec. 28 in Lake County Court.
