A 28-year-old Summerfield woman who was arrested earlier this year after she stole and pawned her mother’s tablet computer is spending Christmas behind bars.

Summer Lee Wieland had been arrested in September on charges of grand theft, dealing in stolen property and providing false information to a pawnbroker following her arrest by Marion County sheriff’s deputies. She allegedly took her mother’s tablet and pawned it in June at Every Day Pawn in Summerfield.

In November, she had been placed on two years probation in the case.

She had also faced charges of possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia in a separate case. In November, she had also been placed on two probation in that case.

On Friday, she was picked up on multiple probation violations. She was being held without bond at the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
