
A Wildwood man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after he was caught driving without a license.
Gerquon Lavares Thomas, 23, was driving a four-door Nissan at 4:23 p.m. on Terry Street, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.
During a traffic stop, he admitted he does not have a driver’s license. A check revealed suspensions in 2015 and 2016.
Thomas was arrested on a charge of driving while license suspended and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. He was released after posting $500 bond.

A 19-year-old is facing a pair of felony charges after he allegedly stole a Playstation 4 and then attempted to sell it to a family member of the victim.
Kryraon D. Armstrong of Wildwood is facing charges of grand theft and burglary following his arrest Monday by Wildwood police.
A woman reported that on Nov. 29 her home on Mill Street in Wildwood had been burglarized. A Playstation 4 was stolen and an unfamiliar cell phone had been left behind.
Armstrong later attempted to sell the Playstation 4 to a family member of the victim who saw photos of the victim’s family on the device, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. Another person bought the Playstation 4 for $80.
In an interview with Wildwood police, Armstrong admitted to taking the device and leaving behind his cell phone.
He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $12,000 bond.
