A man driving a box truck Monday night on U.S. 301 in Wildwood was arrested after a police officer noticed the truck’s taillights weren’t working.
Kristopher K. Paul, 31, of Northport, was pulled over at 7:40 p.m. Thursday on County Road 117 and he admitted his driver’s license had been suspended earlier this month after failing to appear in court in Hillsborough County, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. It was also determined that the vehicle’s license plate had expired.
Paul was arrested on a charge of driving while license suspended. He was also cited for having no taillights and having an expired registration. He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $500 bond.
