Doris “Dorie” Gentes, 70, of The Villages, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017. Doris was born on March 27, 1946 in Burlington, Vermont. Doris moved to The Villages in 2008 and loved her community. She enjoyed playing golf, dancing and working in her flower beds.
A memorial mass will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at noon, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 5323 E County Road 462, Wildwood, FL 34785. Reception to follow. Interment will be held at a later date in Burlington, VT.
