Week 4 CFL action saw Paul Davis Restorations continue it’s winning streak, while the league’s other undefeated team, Palm Ridge Dental had the bye.

Paul Davis held FBC Mortgage scoreless for three innings and came away with a 14-6 win.

Paul Davis lead off batter, Bob Kelly had four hits and three rbis and Don Mulneix also stroked four hits and drove in two runs Bob Buchanan and Bill Nisbet had three hits for the winners. FBC was led by Rick Murgittroyd’s four hits and Dan MacPherson and Ron Parson added three hits each in the loss.

Synergy Wealth got its second straight win by holding off IHOP 13-10.

Synergy’s offense was led by John Reedy and Roy Warter, who each had three hits. Tom Winegarden drove in a pair of runs with each of his two triples and VInce Pezzullo drove in a pair with a two run homer in the 6th. IHOP’s Jim Lambert and Bob DePace each stroked four hits and accounted for 7 rbis. Will Kutter and Tom Bent had three hits each.

Arden Jewelers doubled up Babiarz Law 10-5.

Mark Hildebrand led Arden with four hits, while Bob Cramer and George Kennedy each had three hits. Only Ed Moriarity and Craig Dahlquist managed to get more than one hit as Arden held Babiarz to only 12 hits.

Softball’s R Game scored in all but one inning to defeat Fross & Fross 14-8.

Dick Smith led SRG with four hits and sub, Dave Poeppleman had three hits and four rbis. Fross & Fross got three hits from John Gouin and two hits each from: Jack Meagher, Paul Justice, Gary DePalma, Ralph Furbush, and Dave Pope.

Buffalo Crossing held off a late inning surge from Humana to win 17-14.

Buffalo Crossing’s Jim Harrison had four hits while: Ed Chirumbolo, Howard Charney, and Jim Wiegand chipped in three hits each. Humana sent 11 players to the plate in the top of the seventh and scored 5 runs; but, failed to catch Buffalo Crossing. Leading Humana with four hits was Bob Roth. Bob Nizlek, Dave Oatley, and Maury Fjestad added three each.

Harlan Insurance won the closest game of the day beating CarePlus 10-8.

Bud Ramsey led Harlan with three hits. Stroking two hits each were: Sante Tulli, David Blandford, Don Melcher, and Fred Hughes. Charles Clare and Jim Morton each had a triple for the winners. CFL CarePlus got a pair of hits from: Manny Sanchez, Don Brozick, Chuck Alexander, Dale Neff, and Larry Yoder.
