A murder warrant has been issued for the arrest of 26-year-old William Fitzgerald Seward II of Webster. Sumter County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to 10525 CR 727 at approximately 12:50 a.m. Monday to investigate a shooting. Upon arrival, they found 34-year-old Tarence Lee Jackson of Center Hill dead from apparent gunshot wounds. According to the investigation, the two men had been together at a Super Bowl party earlier in the night and watched the game together. After the game, the men played cards, and it is believed that during that card game an argument ensued at which time Seward, who goes by the alias “Swill-Will,” shot and killed Jackson. Seward then fled in an unknown direction. The sheriff’s office is asking for witnesses or anyone with information on the whereabouts of William Fitzgerald Seward II to come forward.

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is asking that anyone with any information to call (352) 569-1680 or call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477)
