A 29-year-old woman was arrested with two loaded guns in a vehicle during a visit to a former boyfriend in Wildwood.

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a suspicious vehicle parked at a residence at about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday on County Road 215 in Wildwood.

A deputy found a man and a woman, identified as Brandy Nicole Green, in the vehicle. Green said she had driven to the location to see a man she used to date. When she arrived he had come out and got in the car with her.

A loaded silver .380-caliber handgun was found on the carseat next to Green’s leg, according to an arrest report. A loaded 9mm Ruger semi-automatic pistol was also found in the vehicle. A digital scale was also found in the vehicle.

Green claimed the vehicle was not hers and she did not know about the presence of the 9mm gun.

However, she admitted to knowing the .380-caliber firearm was in the vehicle.

Ya, I knew that was in there, but it ain’t mine,” she told a deputy.

She was arrested on charges of carrying a concealed firearm and possession of drug equipment.

She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $3,000 bond.
