Local children can learn about bicycle safety and maybe even go home with a new helmet or bicycle when the Lady Lake Police Department hosts its “Spring into Safety” event on Saturday.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Home Depot.
Law enforcement and fire rescue vehicles will be on display. There will be face painting and children’s games. Free haircuts will be offered. Free hotdogs will be served.
Numerous local law enforcement agencies are partnering with Lady Lake Police Department in this event.
