A 32-year-old Lady Lake woman is free on $5,000 bond after she allegedly used her vehicle to ram the vehicle of her estranged husband’s lady friend.
Laura Dawn High used a key to make a late-night entry Friday to the home she had shared with her husband in the Sunshine Mobile Home Park in Lady Lake, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
High reportedly had been driving past the home and noticed an unfamiliar car parked there. High, who has been staying with a friend, woke up her husband and threw a half full can of beer at his lady friend, hitting her in the nose and mouth. When the woman attempted to leave in her car, High blocked her vehicle with her own. High then proceeded to ram the other woman’s car before driving away.
During a traffic stop, High was found to be in possession of Oxycodone and she resisted arrest.
She was booked on charges of criminal mischief, battery, possession of Oxycodone and resisting arrest at the Lake County Jail.
