A special magistrate for the city of Wildwood has ordered a Villages representative to resolve a woman’s concerns about construction at the Village of Southern Oaks.

Julie Pache told Special Magistrate Archie Lowery that her access to County Road 501 has been blocked due to construction of  the new development that could include up to 20,000 homes. You can read more about the Village of Southern Oaks HERE

“This has impacted my livelihood. There is zero communication,” she said in a meeting Tuesday afternoon at Wildwood City Hall.

Construction continues at the Village of Fenney and The Villages has laid out plans for the Village of Southern Oaks.

Lee Clymer of  the engineering firm of Farner Barley & Associates was The Villages’ lone representative at Tuesday’s meeting.

Lowery told him to address the issues and said the Developer should “take notice.”

“As (The Villages) representative, I ask that you look into this so this lady doesn’t come back in 30 days,” Lowery said.
