To the Editor:
I am not an authority on work visas extended to residents of other countries. However, I cannot believe that foreign nationals may remain in the U.S. forever. The couple who own the tea room in Wildwood have been here for 10 years – perhaps longer. During that time they said they came to love the community and this country. However, they didn’t love it enough to apply for citizenship, which if granted, would have allowed them to stay forever.
As I wrote above, I am not familiar with the regulations of working in a foreign country, but I doubt if Americans would be able to work and prosper in another country without some time limits.
