Villager Ann Pelle was crowned “Golden Ms” on April 23 at the American Natural Beauties Central Florida State Pageant in Kissimmee.
Pelle, who is the captain of the Villages Twirlers & Drum Corps, is no stranger to pageants. She was second runner up in the Ms. Senior Florida Pageant in 2014 and fourth runner up in 2015.
American Natural Beauties pageant was founded with a strong focus on community service and the advancement of higher education.
Community service is a strong part of Pelle’s portfolio as the Twirlers perform at numerous events, including welcoming home travelers on Villages Honor Flight, usually very late at night or in the wee hours of the morning.
