A 38-year-old Summerfield man was arrested after allegedly attempting to shoplift socks and shorts from Bealls in Lady Lake.
William Cleve Lockard was arrested Saturday by Sumter County sheriff’s deputies after he allegedly attempted to steal Under Armour socks and two pairs of Salt Life shorts, with a total value of $127.99, from the store on U.S. Hwy. 441 in Lady Lake.
He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $2,500 bond.
