Two motorcyclists were airlifted to area hospitals after a shooting incident Saturday night which took place during Leesburg Bikefest.
Leesburg police officers responded at 8:05 p.m. to the Circle K convenience store, located at 3300 W. Main Street.
“The incident is apparently related to a dispute between two motorcycle clubs and our detectives are investigating at this time,” said Lt. Joe Iozzi.
The shooting incident involved two adult male victims, each from separate clubs, and both were flown to area hospitals for medical treatment.
Sunday is the final day of the 21st annual Bikefest.
