A 37-year-old resident of the Village of Palo Alto was arrested in Leesburg after police received a call about about a person soliciting juveniles for sexual favors.
When police arrived on the scene on Lucas Street, they found Lauren Hammesfahr, who initially attempted to give them a false name, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. It was also discovered that she was wanted on a warrant out of Polk County for violation of probation on a battery conviction.
She was booked without bond at the Lake County Jail.
