Leesburg police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting Sunday as the suspect remains on the run.
Fredrick D. Thomas, 26, from the Ocala/Marion County area, died Sunday at Leesburg Regional Medical Center as a result of the shooting.
He was reportedly a romantic rival of 25-year-old Jeremy Kenneth Harrison who is being sought by police in the investigation of the shooting that took place at a residence on Willow Drive.
A 2011 white four-door Hyundai Azera that Harrison had been believed to have been driving has been located and impounded.
