John D. Perry, 75, of The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages. He was born on August 9, 1941 to the late John and Bertha Perry of Crystal Falls, Michigan.
During his career as a Civil Engineer, John was the Managing Director of the St. Clair County Road Commission and retired in 1997. John moved with his wife, Jill to The Villages, Florida in 1997 where he enjoyed golfing, RVing, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Jill; his sister, Ruth Kudwa; 3 children, son, Gregory (Kim) Perry, daughter, Lisa (Michael) Wheeler, daughter, Jennifer (Douglas) Fall; 2 step-children, Jack (Kim) Pettengill, Jolene (Shawn) Furman; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by Janice Ross Perry and his brother, Tom Perry.
A Memorial Service will be held at New Covenant United Methodist Church, The Villages, FL on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 1 p.m.
