A trucker was ticketed after a crash Thursday morning blocked lanes of traffic on Interstate 75 in Marion County.
Damon Rollins, 43, had been driving a semi pulling a flatbed trailer hauling construction equipment southbound at 10:45 a.m. Thursday at Mile Marker 366 on I-75, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol. Rollins’ truck veered to the right, left the roadway and struck several small trees. The truck re-entered the roadway and overturned, blocking two lanes of traffic.
Rollins escaped injury. He was ticketed on a charge of careless driving.
