Funeral services set for FHP trooper killed last weekend in crash on I-75

Funeral services for Florida Highway Patrol Master Sergeant William T. Bishop who was killed in the line of duty on June 17 will be conducted on Friday, June 23 at Christ Central Ministries in Lake City.

A Villager was at the wheel of a Cadillac involved in the crash that claimed Bishop’s life on Interstate 75 in Alachua County.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lake City. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be considered to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation, Arthritis Foundation National Office 1355 Peachtree St NE, Suite 600, Atlanta, GA 30309.
