A 53-year-old Eustis man was killed when his vehicle overturned Thursday night in Lake County.
Duane Bays had been at the wheel of a 1996 Ford pickup at 9:50 p.m. on State Road 19 at Matteson Lane when his pickup truck traveled off the roadway, he overcorrected and the truck overturned, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol. Bays was ejected from the truck. He had not been wearing a seatbelt.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident by the medical cxaminer.
