The Villages Republican Club will host its next meeting, Thursday, July 13 at Savannah Regional Recreation Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for a meet and greet. This meeting is open to all Republicans, like-minded conservatives and their guests. Membership is available for all registered Republicans who reside within the boundaries of The Villages and have a valid Villages ID.
Donn Dears will speak on energy issues covering:
• Why global warming isn’t caused by CO2;
• Why the U.S. should exit the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) treaty, including the Paris Accord;
• The potential for fossil fuels.
