To the Editor:
We are hearing a lot of negative on The Villages Hospital. Well let me tell you, I was just in the Leesburg Hospital because it was rated the BEST in the area by Consumer Reports. I was sent there through Urgent Care to bypass the normal process. I already had a room assigned and I still waited three hours. I did not have a urologist, so I had to take what was available, terrible in every way. I waited a day and a half to have surgery that was suppose to be urgent, one kidney shut down from blockage. One story after another. Because the assigned doctor didn’t secure a string got caught on my tubes and pulled the stent out causing unnecessary discomfort. Where is one to go to get proper treatment?
