To the Editor:

I also agree that Village residents should be required to register their golf carts and should be required to have a visible registration sticker on the back of their cart.  There is no accountability for poor driving or parking of golf carts because the police or other residents don’t know who owns the cart. If a golf cart would have a registration sticker, that could be reported and investigation could be followed up.
There should be a small fee, such as $5 or $10 fee, for the registration.
That money could go to pay for the stickers and a person to handle the registration. I think once people are held accountable for their actions there would be far less problems with golf carts.
